About
A family of independently organized TEDx events in Thonglor, Bangkok.
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxThonglor, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxThonglor event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
Three stages, one home
We run one event each year, rotating between three formats. TEDxThonglor is the flagship day of talks. TEDxThonglor Women centers the ideas and experience of women. TEDxThonglor Play explores learning through play. The formats change; the standard for what earns the stage does not.
